As the session winds down the # of times per day that I walk over to the Statehouse increases. Thursday, I believe I made 4 trips, that is not counting the delivery of "Voting List"/ "Committee Reports". So Friday I decided I would take some scenic shots of my walk.
The first shot is coming out of the James Bldg gates. Across the street you can see the side yard of the Governor's House.
Next, is walking thru Lawyer's Mall, I must say it is beautiful this time of years, everything is coming into bloom. Straight ahead is the Statehouse , to the right is the back yard of the Governor's House.
Finally is the trudge up the stairs of the Statehouse. Thursday, I discovered the doors locked, because of "the Politics". So, I turned around and went in the basement entrance. and made deliveries to Sect. of the Senate, President's Office, Ammendment office and Information Desk.
Friday was a repeat. This year we are not having a Saturday session, so I anticipate a lot of running on Monday. I plan to bring my running shoes. Since I just got over pneumonia, I am a little winded from these runs, but hopefully by the time I return to Fl. I will have re-built my staminia
