Duffy Twins

Sophia is fending pretty good for herself at the Pinata. The Duffy twins, I believe really liked their puppies in a purse. Sophia waiting for her cupcake from the Princess Cupcake Cake. She was very proud of the amount of candy she was able to scoop up amongst mostly five year olsd. This was the best part of the party licking all the gooey icing off the top of the cupcake! Happy Birthday Duffy Girls!

Sophia only

Sophia spent Friday night with me without her 2 big sisters. They have a soccer game tomorrow and Sophia has a Birthday Party. Sophia is learning how to use the remote control, especially since Emma is not here she get to select what shows she wants to watch. This is a little bleary, but she looked so cute and grownup coming out of the shower, I really love my quality time with individual visits. Here she is ready for the party with her famous Booty shot/

Back From Maryland

I had my stitches removed and caught an airplane back to Florida on the 12th of April. the girls asked if they could come over on Friday night instead of their usual saturday stay-over. KiKi was very happy to see the girls. Notice that they dressed themselves Saurday morning. Emma is going for the Jessica Simpson(Daisy Dukes) Look. Sophia is trying the Brief look, since Emma is wearing Sophia's shorts(size 24 months). Paige is wearing simple Florida casual. It is amazing to me that the girls are developing their own fashion sence. Paige wanted to try my camera, and I said "yes, aslong as you get my head in the photo". She did pretty good she just needs to work on the lighting next time.

Karen and KiKi

It was so Cold here, that we borrowed a sweater from Sampson/Suzy. They are Joyce and Dale's Yorkies. It maybe a little too short, but KiKi likes the extra warmth it provided. Karen and KiKi wrestling around. KiKi showing Karen her favorite trick that I have taught her. I just hope she remember this trick when she gets back to Florida!

Karen's B'Day in Annapolis

We made plans to go to Tsunami, and I thought I had made reservations for 12:15, but when we got there they were closed. So we went to Rams' Head Inn, which was my vote in the first place. Karen ordered the Bloody Mary Bar, which I think she really enjoyed. We all had a good time, we'll try Tsunami next time.

KiKi the Florida Dog - Snow 1st Time

Just like my kids, she wants to eat the snow. She is shivering so the picturelooks a little skaky. She didn't want to put her paws in the snow, I believe she is ready for the warm sunny beach. She is very puzzled, and doesn't care too much for this white stuff.

Haley Visit 3/31/07

Haley came over for a visit, while her Mom and Dad went shopping. She loved my crocs and they fit right over her tennis shoes. It has been 3 days since my surgery, and I feel pretty good. Dick has taken very good care of me. I am just starting to put weight on my foot.
.
Haley is encouraging me to put on my shoes and start to move!
KiKi has a new resting place on the Sonny Jurgenson Hook Rug in the computer room.

Ankle Surgery 3/28

This is me waiting for Surgery. Actually I waited 4 hours. The person scheduled before me took more time than they planned. So instead of having surgery at 11am, they finally got around to me about 3pm. The surgery took less than an hour and I was out of there as soon as they would let me. I came home under the care of Dr Dick, who immediately gave me some pain pills. I believe within a short span of time I began this itiching which started in my hair, and continued to my arms and chest and finally stopped at my butt. When I tried to eat the yummy bagel that Dr D made for me I could hardly swallow. It was then that I began to realize perhaps I was having a reaction to my meds. I had to stay off my foot for 48hours, which is hard with a new puppy which must have a bladder the size of a PEA. Thanks, to my nurses, Joyce on Thursday and Stephanie on Friday, KiKi had excellent care. I tried another pain pill to see if I might really have an allergic reaction, this time it was much milder, needless to say I switched to good ole Advil. It has been a pain in the butt, using the shower/bath. I have to bag my booted foot and tape it up to prevent wetness. I'll be glad to get back to FL. where I have my Handy Dandy shower that I can stand-up and hang my foot out. This recent procedure has given me thought for my future years(I believe someone called them the "Golden Years"). I am going to do everyhing possible to stay healthy and not be laid-up again. But, in the meantime, I want to encourage my grandaughters to be doctors/ nurses.

Small Dog Park

I don't know who likes the Buddha Baby better KiKi or Haley. Haley quickly learned the only place she could escape Kiki was in Grandpa's lap. KiKi practice her "Herding Skills" that Loki has taught her. She immediately wrapped all the little doggies into a frenzy. But there is always a bully in the group as you can see by this domineering Minature White Alaskan something. Everyone was concerned about KiKi pedigree, when I explained she was Min Pin, they questioned her color, then I would explain the Brendle color was probably a little Boston Terrier mess up. Any way I believe my little half breed had a most enjoyable time.

Mo's Birthday Cake

Emma did a pretty good job of putting her Pizza away. Melissa gets the Volcano Cake from the RF and the staff sung Happy Birthday. The cake was enought for all 10 of us to share. It is very Yummy, and everyone enjoyed their meal too! By the end of our Celebration the kids were adjusted to the Rain storm that came just about evry 1o minutes for the 2 hours we were there. BTW, Thanks to Sean and Teresa for the nice dinner, it was a special treat! We hope all our cousins will come and visit us in Florida! 1 Poor KiKi is dog tired from all her busy activities.

Mo's BD

Katie and I met Mo, the girls, Steph, and Teresa's family at Downtown Disney. We walked around some of the shops and Jeff and Chris bought souvenirs. The girls love to pose with Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. Then we went to Rain Forrest for Melissa's Birthday Celebration. Jeffrey had been to the RF in Kansas City, so he was able to explain in great detail about the RF to Katie, who was a first timer. By the time the food arrived Chris had enough and was ready for some quality time with his Mom(Nap). Paige was having a great time although she had been complaining of a stomach ache for the last few days.

This is me teaching KiKi that Mr. Squirrel is her enemy. I want her to be able to demonstrate to Dick what a squirrel chaser she is becoming. Robert Arrived on 3/9 and we headed off to Downtown Disney . We stopped at the Disney Store to purchase some gifts for Haley. I wanted Grandpa to purchase a Cinderella dress, maybe next time Haley! We had lunch and made plans for the rest of the day. We went on an Air Boat ride on Boggy Creek, which I had been wanting to do for some time. While we waited Robert had his portrait done. The ride was fun we saw Eagles, alligators, and assorted wildlife.

Swingin' at Mo's

KiKi is learning how to swing with Emma. Melissa is trying her own type of swinging. This is actually a vine that is growing from her neighbors yard across her fence, so she is trying to pull it over so we can chop it. This is a little garden houseplant that you would buy from K-mart that went wild (invasive) Melissa really gets into the swing of it. Sophia is also learning to swing on the double swing all by herself.
