Mo's Birthday Cake

Emma did a pretty good job of putting her Pizza away. Melissa gets the Volcano Cake from the RF and the staff sung Happy Birthday. The cake was enought for all 10 of us to share. It is very Yummy, and everyone enjoyed their meal too! By the end of our Celebration the kids were adjusted to the Rain storm that came just about evry 1o minutes for the 2 hours we were there. BTW, Thanks to Sean and Teresa for the nice dinner, it was a special treat! We hope all our cousins will come and visit us in Florida! 1 Poor KiKi is dog tired from all her busy activities.

Mo's BD

Katie and I met Mo, the girls, Steph, and Teresa's family at Downtown Disney. We walked around some of the shops and Jeff and Chris bought souvenirs. The girls love to pose with Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty. Then we went to Rain Forrest for Melissa's Birthday Celebration. Jeffrey had been to the RF in Kansas City, so he was able to explain in great detail about the RF to Katie, who was a first timer. By the time the food arrived Chris had enough and was ready for some quality time with his Mom(Nap). Paige was having a great time although she had been complaining of a stomach ache for the last few days.

This is me teaching KiKi that Mr. Squirrel is her enemy. I want her to be able to demonstrate to Dick what a squirrel chaser she is becoming. Robert Arrived on 3/9 and we headed off to Downtown Disney . We stopped at the Disney Store to purchase some gifts for Haley. I wanted Grandpa to purchase a Cinderella dress, maybe next time Haley! We had lunch and made plans for the rest of the day. We went on an Air Boat ride on Boggy Creek, which I had been wanting to do for some time. While we waited Robert had his portrait done. The ride was fun we saw Eagles, alligators, and assorted wildlife.

Swingin' at Mo's

KiKi is learning how to swing with Emma. Melissa is trying her own type of swinging. This is actually a vine that is growing from her neighbors yard across her fence, so she is trying to pull it over so we can chop it. This is a little garden houseplant that you would buy from K-mart that went wild (invasive) Melissa really gets into the swing of it. Sophia is also learning to swing on the double swing all by herself.

KiKi at the Pool

KiKi is adjusting to life around the pool. She is guarding the table where the girls usually have their lunch. Laying around, sunning and thinking Puppy thoughts.

Have You Seen Any Of These Characters?

TRS last seen at a Spa in Florida....his many disquises which may or may not include a full Freud Beard, Pilates active wear, and various hues of Half-Shirts.

St Valentine Ice Storm 2/14/07

I just returned from the eye doctor after my follow-up visit. (They said I have 20/25 vision)I had cataract surgery yesterday, and when I got home the snow/ice had started. This morning I had to be at the doctor's at 8am, all the schools and govt were closed, but Dick braved the storm to get me to my appt. Dick snapped this pix before I went back into hibernation. Later that evening, we had Valentine Dinner with the Cross Family, since they had no electricity. Actually, they had no electric until Friday, so they spent Thursday night with us, after testing their -30 degrees sleeping bags on Wednesday night.

Restful Weekend

We started our weekend visiting Chris and A in NJ, and ended up in Havre d'Grace on Sunday (Dick on sectional couch)

Baby Eden 2/18/07

We visited Chris, Ed and Eden in Havre d'Grace this weekend. The aunts and Uncle and cousins were also visiting from Illinois. Mom Chris is looking Great! Grandma Barb is just beaming with joy for her newest grand-daughter. Capt Bobbie still has the touch, she was able to settle the baby down for a little snooze.

Back to Our Routine

Well, wouldn't you know it, as soon as my friend leaves, we are hit with another warm spell. The girls are testing the new bubble foutain in the Spa. I just had some warranty work done on the pool. They re- painted the deck , and connected the pipes for the fountain. If you are wondering why Emma is missing in some of these shots, it is because on Mondays and Fridays I usually watch the girls while their Mother Subs and Emma is in School. We usually go to Pilates at 9am, come back have a snack, swim until lunch, then Nap (Paige only needs to Rest) until their Mom and Emma are finished at school.

Joyce Visit--January 2007

My friend Joyce came to Florida for a visit. Unfortunately, she came during the cold spell. Paige looks like she is unhappy because the swimming area is closed.I said last winter we would come for the summer and go for a swim and boat ride. We never did, so I will say it again. Hopefully we can plan a trip for warm weather. This trip to Blue Springs, I tried to get a shot of the Heron near shore since we saw over 70 Manatees. Joyce and I went to Mt Dora for a day trip while she was here. We went to the Tea Room for lunch, and then did some shopping. I always enjoy company, and I hope Joyce and my other friends come to visit .

Captbobbie----Sub Teacher

I have been substitue teacher at Paige/Sophia school. So far, I know that lunch and Nap are my favorite subjects.
Paige enjoying her lunch. I believe one of those containers has blueberries and the other has Goldfish crackers
Paige taking her nap but keeping a watchful eye on everyone's move.

Happy Birthday Gregory!

We went to Mike's for Gregory's B'Day. I am not sleepy, I am just trying to make sure my eyes are open when the pix is taken. Gregory sent this via mobile phone, but I have not been able to send a pic to my blog from my cell. I will need to do some studying when I get back to Florida.

Habitat for Humanity

Episcopal Churches in the County, including St Peter the Fisherman in New Smyrna Beach have helped build houses.
I actually helped paint the outside of this house. I am ready to paint my own house now.......a MANGO color.
