Weekend Visitor

We watched Haley , while her Mom went to Wedding party. I had already started to pick-up, so the house was partially child proofed. Anyway Haley found enough "stuff" to interest her. We were able to see all her new tricks, like "touchdown", which i think her Grandpa enjoyed as much as she did. I even dug out a truck that Tyler played with when he was young and would visit, and I believe the Barbie doll was Stephanies', which I recovered from the VH house. I believe Haley had a good time, I know that Dick and i certainly loved having her spend time with us. Posted by Picasa

John Kerry

John Kerry getting last minutes instructions from aide. We went to a Meet John Kerry Event last night. It was really neat. I couldn't push thru the crowd to get my pic with JK, anywayI was too shy for that. Posted by Picasa

The Sun Sets In Idaho

Samantha gets her sunset swim in before the Sun sets. The Thomas Girls......Woz took this picture. is that a halo over my head? Damn, I am good! Posted by Picasa

A Day on the Bluff

Mom is putting up a little resistance. Bette wants her to have Fruit Loops, but Mom is insisting upon Coca Puffs. Behind that door in the kitchen is the Pantry which holds about 2 dozen different types of cereal, the Eagney Girls would love all the choices that Aunt Bette has! Pam relaxes, while Steph begins her up-river swim. The house is actually on a Bluff, as you can see it is a long way down. Posted by Picasa

Tour of the Best Elementary School in Idaho

Today Woz showed us around Fruitland ES. He has 700 students in pre-K thru Fifthe Grade. He is very proud of his students. He has his own program, so that no child will be left behind. How embarrassing, for your grandfather to be the Principal. That is Samantha on the far right, in her reading class. Stephanie was very impressed with the cafeteria which serves not only the ES but the High School kids. I would say those ladies in the cafeteria have their hands full! Brodie was a good sport about being dragged around Fruitland. Posted by Picasa

Scooterville, idaho

Today Dad took us on a tour of the neighborhood. I think that was the first time I have seen him on the "Scooter". I am not sure how much he rides it, but maybe he should volunteer for the "Neighborhood Watch" since he was able to tell us much about the "Hood". Afterwards Dad parks his scooter, while Pam works out on Woz's new gym equipment. Woz has built a sauna in the garage, I didn't try it out but they said it was HOT! Posted by Picasa

Arrival in Idaho

We arrived in Idaho on 9/6, incase you were wondering where I have been. Stephanie and I met in Las Vegas , and went on to meet Pam in Boise . So all 4 sisters where in idaho to greet Mom for her morning breakfast. (which on this day was before noon). Tony brought Brodie over so he could get a head start on the big game between Boise and Oregon. We were so happy we couldn't leave Brodie alone. We passed him around and around, I think he got a half-hour nap that day. Woz and Bette have a beautiful home, and we were so delighted to be invited to spend time with them and MOM and DAD.  Posted by Picasa

Hurricane Ernesto.........Fizzells Out

Well, I prepared for the Hurricane by placing everything that Ithought could be blown away inside the house. Emma and Sophia liked the idea of all that "stuff" in the house. They played more on the furniture, than when it is outside After nap we went to the White's to visit Gibbs. Since last week , Gibbs barely shut his eyes today. He was allover the place, I believe the "chewing stage" will begin very shortly. Emma and Jena played games, while the rain poured outside. Sophia and Stef watch Ernesto coming up the ICW. Posted by Picasa

Singin in the Rain

These shots were taken last Friday, when we had some of the most rain we 've had in the last 3 months. The girls are fasinated with umbrellas. They also are willing to sweep, even if it is only for a short time. Emma's favorite pastime is now looking for frogs, lizards, and "Bugs". She found this worm during the rain, I convinced her to put it in my garden, but only after she had spent much time examining it from tail to tail????  Posted by Picasa

Sleepy Time

Do I look tired? Paige took this shot of me at the end of "Play Time". I think she did a great job, the pic is centered and my eyes are open. Sisters will be sisters. The girls gather for a "Group Hug" . Posted by Picasa

Girls Behavin' Badly??????

On Saturday, the girls usually come over to spend the night. We all look forward to our sleep over. I decided in order to keep a better reign on activities, that I would limit the girls play area to the "Princess Room", this past week. This may have been too tight quarters to keep the peace. Sophia usually is the most content of the 3, she finds ways to keep herself occupied while Emma and Paige battle it out . BTW -- that is "play" ice cream, she made herself a vanilla cone. Emma decided she want to make the fort into a restaurant. This "FORT" situation almost seems to get out of hand. Emma has some definite thoughts about how it should be constructed and is not happy with anyone who disagrees. Sophia does not take any stuff off of Emma, here she is trying to tie Emma up with a bongee cord, while Paige offers encouragement. I don't know if SuperGirl will be able to get out of this one! Posted by Picasa

The Day Before School

We took a quick trip to Universal on Sunday. The girls always enjoy the carousel, but this time Emma was tall enough to go on one of the Roller Coaster rides, she had never been on before. While Mike and Melissa ride Dueling Dragons, the girls measure to determine how much they will need to grow before they can join their parents. Looks like Sophia is going to have a wait. Of course it won't be acomplete visit if we didn't stop to visit our Super heroes. Posted by Picasa
