Digging for Patio

Today F&M began work on My patio and widdening of driveway. Woz, I wish you were here to supervise! KiKi is having a fun time....she only stops barking to catch her breath. they dug up my Giant Hibucus, which I had cut back to help them remove. Now if I can re-plant them????They also dug up my Crepe Myrtle and Crotans, that were doing so well, but of course were in the way of the driveway tobe.

Blessing of the Animals

Fr Jim was not about to let any animal escape without a Blessing All means of conveyance were used to bring the animals KiKi the Devil Dog tried to nip off Fr. Jim's hand, she didn't know what to do with so many new and different animals. By the end of the Service she had quieted down.
Today we had the Blessing of the Animals. Fr. Jim started with the "Big Black" horse, then a few kitty's and an African Gray and of course a huge number of dogs
Thanks to Paige for Photographing all these animals! She did an outstanding job.Posted by Picasa

Sophia at Grandma's

Now that Paige and Emma are playing Soccer and Melissa is coaching, Sophia and I are spending more time together. Mondays and Wednesdays Paige practices and Tuesdays and Thursdays Emma practices. So they have a very busy schedule plus Emma has horseback riding Sophia agreed to eat what she didn't finish for lunch for her dinner. Maybe tomorrow she will eat all of her lunch for lunch!

Sophia's Photograpy

Sophia has taken up photography. I believe close-ups are her speciality. She probably took about 50 shots, and these are my favorites. She even told me how to pose! I believe she was just happy to get Kiki and Finley to "sit" when she too their pics. Maybe that is why she chose my shoes (inanimate object) on my new laminate floor, as her final selection.

The Ponds

If you have visited here you realize that these "ponds" have a 5 ft bank. The water has now come up and is even with the shore. In some places the water has come out and over the streets, but we have been pretty lucky here.

Sights of Fay at "the Shores"

Hurricane Fay toppled over my Guava tree, but Melissa was able to upright it later and now has it strung to my fence. I just hope my fence doesn't go over in the next storm. The pool water was rising to the tippy top, but during the night I guess the pump kicked in and kept it from overflowing. All the low spots have flooded and there are a multitude of breeding grounds for mosquitoes.

Hurricane Fay

We went out on a mercy trip(to buy crickets and meal worms) before the Hurricane came thru Edgewater. The Kids were out of school Tues-Fri. I would say that it actually came to Edgewater late Thursday, the previous two days it just sat in Brevard County(just south of Volusia). We moved all the items that might blow away into the kitchen and garage. The girls liked having the Glass patio Table sitting in the middle of the kitchen, Paige and Sophia decided that is where they wanted to have their dinner served

The LIME Harvest

The girls have been insistent about picking the limes, especially since Dick bought this hand Juicer.
They picked about a half dozen limes to make 3/4 cup of Lime juice. Then we made Limeaide, which they decided they really didn't like except for the cherrries we put in it.

Tyler's Visit to Skate Park

Sophia is still hands on with her skateboard(scooter actually) Tyler demonstated how it is done Emma and Ethan attempt the "bike over the Ramp" never before attempt by any of them. But really Will is the one to watch if you want to know how it is done.

KiKi and Dick

KiKi enjoys sharing Ritter's Ice Cream with Dick. It is a new place that just opened in town. KiKi's snout just fits perfect into the cup.

GiGi and Annie B'Day Party

Annie and GiGi"s Birthday at the Beach. Sisters just born days apart, but we know about that right Paige and Emma? All the girls gather at the "Boat" in the Park Breaking the Pinata! (With the help of Laura) GiGi received a snorkel and mask from me, since I know they love diving in the pool. Judy and Sailor "Chill-Out" at the Party, they had been to several Pool Parties that day and Sailor was beginning to drag a little.

The Jumping place

The Boys and Girls went to "The jumping place", one of the ladies in my Reiki Group had told me about this, so before we all head back to school, they tried it out. Emma enjoyed sliding down one of the many huge "blown-up" slides. Sophia excelled in the mountain climbing
